So far I love it. I used it for a week straight so far at 39f and 0f. Nice size for one person to move around. It is very quiet and sips power.
Just returned from month long roadtrip through Maine and NB Canada. Purchased the ICECO VL45 fridge for the trip. Tired of the ice issues encountered when camping for days at time.
The unit performed better than anticipated. Plenty of room for the items we had. Held temperature great when not plugged in. Great purchase!! Loved it.
Glad we purchased this fridge. Fit great in our 4RUNNER and charging was a breeze. Well built and solid product. Here’s to many more roadtrips with ICECO!!

Being off-grid, I only need quality equipment. So, research is paramount, it didn't take long to narrow down to Iceco. Ordered VL60PRO-S, well packaged and shipped quickly. After 5 weeks, 0° in 45 mins, ice cream is solid, when introducing new items it gets to 10°, within 3 hours zero again. I don't keep it in the cabin, its in the camper, gets lil warm in there, got the insulated cover seems to help. Overall,hardly touches the solar 400ah system. Very Impressive Thanks...
We considered many different dual-zone portable refrigerator/freezers. We could have gotten any one we wanted. For us, it finally boiled down to weight and value.
As people relatively new to the camping/overlanding world, we were unsure what to seek or expect from “an electric cooler.” After reading some kind of mixed reviews about the APL35 ultralight, we just couldn’t escape the weight savings compared to others. Plus, the ICECO was also very affordable.
We couldn’t wait to try it out once it arrived. We are thrilled! The freezer/fridge comes to temperature quickly enough, and seems to maintain its internal coolness pretty well, even while using it under summer’s latest Heat Dome, where outside temperatures soared to the low 100s in our desert landscape.
The only weirdness (I guess I’d call it) is the internal temperature seems to “shift” slightly when on the move. Variations are three to four degrees, depending on what compartment quadrant items reside in and the temperature shifts aren’t predictable. It seems to rely on the motion, vector and momentum. Nevertheless, we set the fridge at 36 degrees and the freezer at 0 and we never saw foods go above 40 or below 33 in the fridge compartment, and we never noticed any signs of melt or modification for items in the freezer. So we’re not worried about the weirdness.
It’s a handsome item that doesn’t seem particularly robust, but we’re going to use it until it dies, which hopefully won’t be for many years. It doesn’t gobble the precious watts from our moderate-capacity power station, either, so we don’t have dead-battery anxiety that might have come from some of the other contenders on our original consideration list.
We are glad me made the decision we did to go with the ICECO APL35 ultralight!
Perfect size. On the road snacks and drinks. Also transport of food from the store and I don’t have to worry about time to get home to put it away. The piggyback battery works awesome. Love the mode to go from fridge to freezer only by adjusting the temperature setting. I’m using this in September with the VL45 to transport BBQ from IL to CO. I have no worries. Love ICECO
4 day camping trip in 93+ degree temps during the day (~73 degrees for the night-time low). We packed ice cubes and popsicles in the freezer side with food and drinks in the other. We ran it in ECO mode on a power station for the duration of the trip and this thing never skipped a beat. Set at 35 Refrigerator/26 freezer. Even with such low settings, this thing sipped power while maintaining perfect temperatures. The compressor is super quiet, to the point I had to check if it was still running (by the handy-dandy Bluetooth app of course). The stay-open lid is a huge convenience when digging out the item you’re wanting which Murphy’s Law says is always on the bottom. Super impressed with the overall quality, efficiency and function of this freezer.

Slide was originally received damaged but quickly replaced by ICECO and works great along with the APL35
I was searching for a new camp chair when I noticed ICECO had a couple listed. What a surprise of a chair. Very comfortable and excellent quality.
This thing is beefy and durable. Set the temp and it took about 10-15 minutes to get there, while being out in the 100 degree summer weather. Would definitely recommend
After a 9 Day off grid trip the cover help regulate the temps on my fridge and prevent unneeded power use.
